Why I Love Joe Budden

Family Reunion Verse over Last Dayz Instrumental

Why I love Joe Budden, he always mad at something but that don't stop him from fucking spitting his little heart out, how can you not fuck with Joey?

Sarah Palin...she's a fraud!

Just last week Sarah Palin announced that she received a lil over $1000 from questionable
Alaskan politicians who were caught up in a public scandal. So because the money you received is questionable, it isn't good enough for you, but yet IT IS good enough for charity? Number one, that's telling me that you're accepting sponsorship from people who you have done little or no research on, and i'm not sure i feel comfortable with that. Number two, if there is something that is not good enough for you but good enough for charity are you aware of how that makes you look? Do you give clothes that have holes and stains on it to Goodwill? Do you pass down a car that has no engine to your children? Do you give a plate with no food to the hungry? What's really good with you lady? I already am not comfortable that you came out of nowhere and became McCain's running mate, but the fact that you're handing off tainted money to charity, that's just selfish. Oh and i'm still waiting on you to delve a little bit further into your stance, history and views on foreign affairs.

Good luck Mrs. Hockey Mom.

Newport Centre Mall

Newport Centre Mall where all of your shopping needs and/or desires can be met.................rightttttttttttt. Let me tell you something about this place. My good friend and I have been there twice, to browse, to shop, to eat..etc. Do you know that every single store we went in with the exception of one, nobody even approached us to say hello nor to see if we needed help finding anything. Now I know with any job dealing with retail and/or constant interaction with people, they usually hire social folks or it is usually required for you to be a people person. Well who the fuck is hiring these people at Newport Centre (Aldo, Armani Exchange, Charlotte Russe, Bandelino, Fredericks of Hollywood, Express, Forever 21, Wet Seal) Shout out to the associate in Victoria Secrets who actually attempted to make small talk with my friend and I, and to the lil lady at Aldo Accessories who greeted us promptly, and to the snowflake at Hollister who was more than happy to extend herself if we needed any help finding anything. The worst part is, my friend and I are minorities, and it's always the minority folk who decide...oh its one of us, no need to say hello they're not buying. Like seriously what the hell is it with the minorities? I work in retail and I speak to EVERYBODY, I treat people how I would like to be treated when I'm out shopping/browsing. It's a damn shame, it's as simple as forming your mouth to say "hello" even a wave will suffice. Is it really asking for to much to get some fucking attention when you shop?

I really have to point out just one particular store in Newport Centre that i'd probably never shop in again. Bandelino, my friend and I walked into the store...only two customers in the store, and the associate behind the register was there alone. You would think she would say hello as soon as we came in, i mean shit we're her company since she's alone on a saturday evening working, but of course not, she didn't even budge from behind the register. She stood there like a fucking lightpole until we walked out of the store. Kudos to you bitch, sales associate of the fucking year.

I'm done ranting.

Stop & Shop....or Stop & Fight?

Stop & Shop, the super grocery store where you can fill all your grocery needs! It's 11am, the family and I stepped out to do some saturday grocery shopping...all is well until we reach the produce section to pick up some collard greens.............all of a sudden loud commotion coming from aisle 6/deli department. Now being that we were in Newark and because of how society has played itself out, i just knew it was some of my people showing their ass in the grocery store...but to my surprise its two white families screaming down each others necks, next thing you know somebody throws a blow one broad got sucker punched right in the eye (looked real bad), turns out one of the women is a regular in the store and this isn't the first time she's made a scene in Stop & Shop.

How's that for some Saturday Morning grocery shopping?
SMH.

Nike Air Penny II

Nike Air Penny II!!!! Take it back to '96 real quick. I remember I was 9 years old, biggest tomboy in VA, where i was living at the time, begggggingggg my mother to cop these bad boys for me. Of course she said no because we were broke as hell and sneakers just weren't on the top of that priority list, but damn if them shits weren't sexy. So now they're back out, couple of retailers have them TSG online shop has a full size run, might want to head over there before them shits are gone..best part they're going for retail (theshoegame.com/shop/) . The official release date is September 27th, so try your local Nike retailers.

Whiskey Trader

Whiskey Trader
71 W 55th St
(between 5th Ave & Avenue Of The Americas)
New York, NY 10019 (212) 582-2223
whiskeytradernyc.com

So my friends and I like to go out for the occasional drink, what place other than Whiskey Trader? Now this place is small and cozy, very intimate space, even an occasional date is cool, just not on a friday or saturday. The drinks are cheap and they don't play with the alcohol, bartenders will treat you like friends if you're friendly, you treat them like asshole's, they treat you like assholes. There's one broad in there that has an accent not really sure where it's from but she could make one hell of a Red Devil. But even on top of the great drinks, they've got a jukebox in there that has damn near every album ever released, limited reggae ugh, but you know when you get a lil liberated you wanna hear some good shit so you just walk on over to the jukebox and pick your tune. Best night to hit up Whiskeys is Friday if you like crowds, they have a live DJ who spins everything from Lady Gaga to Hov to Movado, he's pretty ecclectic, if you prefer the place all to yourself check it out on a tuesday or wednesday.

DRINK ON!

Guilty

So it's 7:20 in the morning, about to head to court.
Wish me luck, hope all goes well.
Nerves are getting the best of me, not really sure I want
to even deal with what might occur today but it isn't in
my hands now.

I'll return with an update.

So I just got home from court earlier...
Defendant apparently hasn't even been served with the restraining
order, therefore they granted me an indefinite restraining order until
he gets served. I have a terrible feeling that this process is going to be
long and overwhelming..guess that's how things usually go when it comes
to the law.

Things We Lost In The Fire

If you haven't seen this movie, go purchase the movie from your local bootlegger, target, wherever. This is not an action, thriller, comedy, it's some real life shit. Not to mention a stellar cast (Halle Berry, David Duchovny, Benicio Del Toro) but this movie is so heartfelt. The backdrop of the movie, a woman and her two children lose their husband/father to a very tragic untimely mishap and as a way of coping with the loss the woman invites her husband's estranged heroin addict friend to help ease the grief. Now the society I grew up in automatically places drug addicts in such a negative light that it was hard for me to watch this movie and trust Benicio Del Toro's character at the same time. This woman invited a man whom she had a heavy discomfort with into her home just to keep her mind off of what was actually happening, she lost her husband, there's no running from that. Now as superb of a job that Halle did with her character, Audrey, it was Jerry (Del Toro) who was extremely captivating. He went from a hardcore heroin addict, living in the slums of the inner city, to a father figure to his best friend's children, and confidant to his best friends wife. It was almost as if he filled the void experienced by this family. He was unselfish and didn't even have to think twice about being there for a woman who adamantly disliked him. When you can put something like that to the side and move on as if nothing ever happened, that is to be admired. I can't even begin to explain how appealing this film is..you just have to watch it yourself.

Welcome Home

So yeah welcome strangers, bloggers, web surfers and those alike.
I'm not an entrepreneur, author, fashion designer, artist or anything of the sort....just a regular human being who likes to share her views, thoughts and expressions on various topics, figured
it wouldn't be a bad idea to blog. I mean damn near everyone who isn't living under a rock
or south of nowhere logs onto the world wide web, so why not put my thoughts out there
free for all to view...sharing is caring right?

So just a lil brief intro on who I am, I'm a 21 year old ambitious young lady.
Known around the world as Ms. Did I Do That, no not because i'm a tad bit off but because i'm accident prone and clumsy as hell, but to those who know me well i'm Tee. I come from the roots of Hollis, Queens, nothing too special out there, but currently reside in New Jerz, trying not to be a product of my environment. Grew up in a very dsyfunctional atmosphere which carved me into who I am now. Not really one for drama nor ignorance, and if you know me or have been around me you know im nonchalant about pretty much anything. It's in my nature not to show my reaction to anything, my father once told me he could look in my eyes and not feel a single emotion, some call it a talent, some call it a weakness, i call it my security blanket. Other than the aforementioned I'm a pretty cool person, I party in all boros, chill in every town, you could find me all over. I'm definitely a friendly person, its in my nature. Pretty much in a nutshell, I'm a witty young lady who has her mind right and her style on point and is ready and willing to conquer all.

Pretty simple ehh?
