Return of the Jedi

So I haven't blogged in what seems like centuries.
Truth be told alot has been going on, I've had a lot on my plate recently and I'm just now getting back into the swing of things.

Tragically in the beginning of the year, my beloved mother passed away from a very heartbreaking and sudden death. I really am not sure how I'm handling things right now, I'm just taking everything one moment at a time because if I think too far ahead in the future I become overwhelmed. My mother is such a major part of my life that I'm not sure if I could ever become complacent with the fact that she will no longer physically be here. It is a very huge pill to swallow. Everything I've ever done was for my mother, I enrolled back in school for her, I worked everyday for her, I've always wanted to be successful so that I could reward my mother for all that she's done for me and for how hard she worked to make sure I had an excellent life and uprbringing. This situation really had me questioning everything, from believing in a higher power, to even giving up on life. I even thought "what am I going to tell my children when I have them." It's almost surreal, I'm still having trouble coming to grips with the reality that my nurturer, best friend, confidant, caretaker, mother is no longer here.

Dealing with the death of my mother is extremely trying, but with the help of my dad and stepmom along with my very good friends, I will get through this. I know she's with me everywhere I go and not a day will go by that I do not think of her.

I love you mommy,
forever and always.

T-shirt Customization via Niketown NY

Haven't updated in what seems like forever!
Nothing really going on, on the homefront.
We've got this new concept at my job, Tee customization, I mean for the most part this thing could really take off if we had the right materials.  Like right now we have about 7 color tees, a wide range of nike brand graphics and then we have some black and white lettering for the tees. They limit us to what we can put on it as far as how many swooshes can be on one side of the tee, what the tee can say and cutting up graphics which is understandable, but our Westchester store has the ability to cut and place graphics wherever they can possibly imagine. If we had the freedom to do that and had more graphics in more colors we'd be making some major money for the company, but until that happens, we've got to make due with what we've got.  So if you have any time or just wanna stop by and see what's what, come by Niketown NY 57th between 5th and Madison Avenues.  We're right on the first floor as soon as you walk in.

Denim Half Cab Collabo In4mation x Vans

These babies are limited to 500 pairs going for $110 at In4mation stockists as well as their web shop, the best thing about this shoe is the more you wear and tear the better it gets. It even has a houndstooth pattern that will show itself as you break these bad boys in. I've always been a fan of denim shoes, but never the half cab, this shoe has definitely changed my mind.

They release December 12th, my birthday is the day before so these would be a lovely birthday gift...size 5-5.5 please!
